Teramount: constraint before consensus

Proud moment for Grove Ventures. Teramount, one of our earliest bets, is being acquired by Molex and will become their strategic R&D center in Israel. When Lior Handelsman led our seed investment, the thesis was clear: data center bandwidth was about to hit a wall, and silicon photonics would be the critical unlock. Co-packaged optics wasn't a buzzword yet. It was an infrastructure bet on a bottleneck most of the market hadn't internalized. But a thesis without execution stays on paper. Hesham Taha, Abraham Israel, and the team built technology that simply has no substitute in the market. That's what gets a global player like Molex to acquire and double down. This is the pattern we look for in cloud infrastructure investments at Grove: identify the constraint before it becomes consensus, back the team that owns the solution. Congrats to the team, and to Lior for the conviction from day one.
